NHTSA has announced a recall for the F150 due to a defective transmission sensor. Over 10,000 vehicles including the 2011 and 2012 F150′s, 2012 Expedition and Lincoln Navigator, and the 2012-2013 Mustangs.

Some of the problems that might be experienced with the automatic transmissions include not shifting into reverse, the “R” lamp on the dashboard not coming on, and the backup lights not working. These are all related to a faulty transmission range sensor. Read the rest of this entry
